‘Playing with fire’: WB Guv after students block convoy outside Jadavpur University

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar was blocked from entering Jadavpur University by protesting students. Dhankhar, who is also the Chancellor of the University, had arrived to attend the annual convocation ceremony. While addressing the media, he said, “It's a painful moment for me as a Chancellor and as Governor.” He added, “The state has chosen to put education in captivity. As a Chancellor, I can't afford to see my students suffer.”
