‘PM, HM blinded by personal revenge’: Congress on Gandhis losing SPG cover

Indian National Congress attacked the Central government over withdrawal of SPG security for the Gandhis. A security review panel recommended the withdrawal of Special Protection Group cover for Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. The trio are to be protected by Z plus security now. Congress party alleged that the government's move had been motivated by personal vendetta. Congress' KC Venugopal said that the Prime Minister and Home Minister Amit Shah were 'blinded by personal revenge'.
