PM Modi, French President Inaugurate UP’s Largest Solar Power Plant

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received French President Emmanuel Macron in Varanasi on Monday. The two attended a series of events including the inauguration of Uttar Pradesh's largest solar power plant. The leaders took a boat ride from the Assi to the Dashwamedh ghat along the Ganges. Since his arrival on Saturday, the two leaders have signed 14 deals in areas of defense, security and nuclear energy to name a few. This has been the French president's first visit to India since his election to office in 2017.
