PM Modi has turned ‘mauni baba’ on fuel price hike: Congress

While addressing the media in the national capital on Monday, Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said that the Bharat Bandh turned out to be a successful protest across the country.

He accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fuel price hike and said, “Pradhan Mantri ji ne toh chuppi sadh li hai. Mauni baba ban gaye hai or unke vitt mantri bhi mouni baba ban gaye hai”. He further added, “Two Union Ministers came forward, Dharmendra Pradhan and Ravi Shankar Prasad. They gave two reasons behind fuel price hike. First, Modi government is helpless. We don't have right to control the price. Second reason they gave was there is increase in the price of crude oil. Both the reasons are lie.”
