‘Pro-Pak’ slogan row: BJP smells ‘larger conspiracy’; girl’shouse vandalised

House of woman who raised pro-Pakistan slogans at Bengalururally was vandalised by miscreants on Thursday night. The woman's father fileda complaint and police personnel were deployed. This comes after the womanraised pro-Pakistan slogans at an anti-CAA rally in Bengaluru on Thursday. AllIndia Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi was presentat the event. Owaisi condemned the woman's statement and distanced the partyfrom the woman. Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai said this was part ofa 'larger conspiracy'. Bommai said background check on the girl is being done.The woman was taken into 14-day police custody and charged under sedition afterthe event.
