‘Probe Vadra but also investigate PM Modi,’ says Rahul in Chennai

Updated on Mar 13, 2019 02:58 pm IST

During an interaction with college students in Chennai, Congress President Rahul Gandhi was asked why he's silent on the ongoing investigation against his brother-in-law Robert Vadra. In response, Gandhi said that the law must apply equally to all citizens. Gandhi further said that he doesn't object to the probe against Mr Vadra, but that Prime Minister should be subjected to inquiry too for the Rafale deal. The Congress President said that a probe must be constituted on the basis of alleged government documents showing parallel negotiations by PMO in the fighter aircraft deal. The NDA has comprehensively rejected the Congress' charges on Rafale.
