Stuck for 110 hours in borewell, 2-year-old Punjab boy dies after being rescued

A two-year-old boy, who fell into a borewell in Punjab died on Tuesday. Fatehveer Singh was rescued on Tuesday morning and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead. The rescue operation continued for about 110 hours. The toddler had fallen into a 150-feet-deep open borewell while playing outside his house. The incident took place on June 6 afternoon in a village in Punjab's Sangrur.
