Defence Minister Rajnath Singh spoke on the Indian army along the borders. Speaking on the ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control in Uri Sector, Singh said the army is doing whatever is necessary. “People should be confident about border security,” Singh added. A junior commissioned officer of the army and a woman were killed on Wednesday in an unprovoked firing. The defence sources said Pakistan is targeting civilian population in India with vengeance from gun and mortar positions deployed and inside villages in PoK.
