People living on borders no ordinary citizens but strategic assets: Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attended the Maitree Diwas in Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang on Thursday. Singh said the people living on the borders are not ordinary citizens but strategic assets to the country. The defence minister also spoke on how inhabitants of Ladakh were the first ones to give information on Pakistan's infiltration into Kargil. Singh is on a two-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh where he will also inaugurate Sisseri River Bridge and National Highway-52 in East Siang district.
