Sabarimala row: Protests continue, devotees forced to return mid-way

Women on their way to Sabarimala temple had to return mid-way along with her relatives after facing protests. Women were protesting in Nilakkal against the entry of women in the age group of 10-50 years to the Sabarimala temple. Men participating in the pilgrimage to the temple also staged protests near Pamba base camp against entry of women. Tension has gripped Kerala as Sabarimala temple's gates were thrown open to women devotees today. Today marks the first day in centuries that women are being allowed to enter the temple.
