‘Science student’ Akhilesh Yadav on SP-BSP break-up: ‘Trials sometimes fail’

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav commented on the break-up of his alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party. Yadav invoked his past as a Science and engineering student to call the alliance a 'trial'. He said trials sometimes fail but they ensure that one becomes aware of shortcomings. After failing to halt the Bharatiya Janata Party juggernaut in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections, the SP and BSP will be contesting the upcoming state assembly bypolls separately.
