Security tightened in Delhi, J&K ahead of 73rd Independence Day

Security has been tightened in Delhi ahead of the 73rd Independence Day. Multi-layered security ring including Army personnel has been deployed. Security forces are conducting vehicular check in all the parts of Delhi-NCR. Jammu and Kashmir police too beefed up security checking in Poonch's border area. Additional Army force and local police have been deployed. Security has been enhanced along the International Border in Jammu sector. BSF launched 'Ops alert' deploying extra troops on the border areas. Meanwhile, a full dress rehearsal of I-Day celebrations was held at Red Fort. CRPF, J&K police and NCC among others took part in a full dress rehearsal in Rajouri district. The nation will celebrate its 73rd Independence Day on August 15.
