Watch: Sharjeel Imam brought to Guwahati, sent to 4-day police custody

Sharjeel Imam brought to Guwahati on Thursday by Assam Police. Imam, a JNU student, was arrested last month for 'cut off Assam' remark. He was produced in court which granted four days police remand. Imam was arrested by Delhi Police in Jehanabad in Bihar last month for an allegedly seditious speech on Assam. Imam was brought in Delhi from Patna on Jan 29, 2020. He was handed over to Assam Police on Wednesday.
