People’s court will punish rebel MLAs: ex-CM Siddaramaiah after SC ruling

Following the Supreme Court's ruling, former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah said that People's court will punish the rebel MLAs. Earlier in the day, the top court upheld the disqualification of 17 rebel Karnataka MLAs. SC allowed the rebel MLAs to contest in by-polls. The disqualification led to the fall of Congress-JDS government in the state. By-polls in Karnataka is scheduled for December 5, 2019.
