Pre-Budget talks: FM Nirmala meets industry, services, trade & agri groups

Pre-Budget consultations continued at Ministry of Finance. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met a cross-section of stakeholders. She first met industry, services and trade groups. They sought reduction of compliance burden & tax litigation, decriminalisation of Tax and Company Laws. FM Nirmala then met representatives of agriculture & allied industries. Suggestions to boost investment in agriculture sector were given by participants.
