‘Discussed fishermen issue, will release Indian boats’: Sri Lankan President

Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa made a big announcement during a joint address to the media with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rajapaksa said that the two sides discussed in length the fishermen issue, adding that Sri Lanka will take steps to release boats belonging to India. The newly elected Sri Lankan President is on a 3-day visit to India.
