Subramanian Swamy supports #MeToo movement

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday expressed his views on #MeToo movement. Supporting #MeToo movement he said that society should welcome women coming forth. He said that one should not invalidate accusations of rape or sexual harassment even if it happened long time ago. Subramanian Swamy said, “The 21st century is an era of knowledge and equality. Women have started working too, they should be given protection. Yes, there are times when false accusations have been made, but for that we must not invalidate these cases even if it happened 10 or 15 years ago. We must welcome this me too movement.”
