Terror recruitment & infiltration down; boost to peace push: J&K Police chief

Director General of Jammu and Kashmir's police force, Dilbag Singh briefed the media on the terror situation in the state. Singh said that there are approximately 275 terrorists active in the state and 100 to 125 of them are foreigners. He also pointed out that terror recruitment in the first five and a half months of 2019 is less than half of what was witnessed in previous years. Citing reduced recruitment and infiltration, the state police chief said that it was a boost for the authorities' peace push in the state.
