Lok Sabha witnessed stormy scenes on Monday. The Parliament reconvened for the second leg of the Budget Session on March 2, 2020. The Opposition sought to corner the Government on the recent violence in Delhi. Opposition MPs stormed the well of the House and shouted slogans like 'Amit Shah must resign' and 'We want justice'. The Speaker made multiple appeals to the MPs to return to their seats but to no avail. Then the Parliamentary Affairs minister raised the 1984 Delhi riots to target the Congress.
