Train 18 has successfully completed all test runs. It is India's first indigenously manufactured semi-high speed train. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal conducted the final inspection at New Delhi Railway station on January 02. The train is now ready to start its commercial operation between New Delhi and Varanasi. Running at a speed off 16 km per hour, it will cover the distance within 8 hours. The train is built by Integral Coach Factory (ICF) of Chennai to promote 'Make in India'.
