Watch: 1st National GST Conference days after Nirmala’s meet on easing GST process

The first National Goods and Services Tax Conference took place in Delhi on Monday. The conference, held at Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital, was attended by Commissioners of State Tax, Zonal Chief Commissioners and Directors General of Central Tax. One of the objectives of the meeting was to boost 'synergy' at the state and central level. The conference was chaired by Union Revenue Secretary, Ajay Bhushan Pandey. The meeting took place just days after Union Finance Minister had participated at a session to explore simplification of the GST filing process.
