Watch: AIMIM MLA’s supporters allegedly manhandle doctor; legislator arrested

Scenes of violence were seen at the Malegaon General Hospital in Maharashtra's Nashik on the day that the 21-day nationwide lockdown kicked in. A legislator from the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen party has been arrested over the alleged manhandling of a doctor at the hospital. The MLA's supporters allegedly attacked the doctor over delay in discharge of two patients. The incident happened even as India's healthcare infrastructure is under pressure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
