WhatsApp has been ordered to delete information about people using the app till September 25, when its new privacy policy comes into effect. The court was responding to a petition by Karmanya Singh who had challenged the new policy, alleging it violates the fundamental right to privacy. For future, it will create sensitivity among people that all their data could be shared with Facebook.
