Women’s Day 2018: Time to #PressForProgress

Updated on Mar 08, 2018 01:29 pm IST

Women have access to education, have voting rights and even mass media, but do they have equality? 8th March is International Women's Day and this year the theme is #PressForProgress. But aren't women already progressing? The World Economic Forum's recent Wage Gap Report showed it will take 217 years to end the wage gap. For perspective, British ruled India for lesser time than that. But, we don't need to wait that long. You can help women in their progress. Support organisations that work for their education and other rights. Help at home with domestic work. #TimesUp for sexism. #TimeIsNow to do some ladies log waali baatein.
