Zomato’s response to ‘non-Hindu’ delivery boy complaint sets Twitter abuzz

Online food delivery service Zomato's response to a man who tweeted about cancelling his order as the designated rider was a 'non Hindu' has set social media abuzz. Twitterati is praising Zomato's response to one Pandit Amit Shukla who tweeted “Just cancelled an order on @ZomatoIN. They allocated a non Hindu rider for my food they said they can't change rider and can't refund on cancellation.” In a series of tweets, Shukla shared screenshots of his conversation with Zomato's customer care, threatening to take up the issue with his lawyers. In response, Zomato said, “Food doesn't have a religion. It is a religion.”
