16 people were killed after being hit by a train on Wednesday. The accident occurred at around 11 pm in South Kankrakhadi in Udhna district, about three kms from Surat. The driver of the another train spotted the dead that included two women and two children. Local police is still investigating the matter to ascertain the number of dead and the cause of the accident.
