On June 23, 1985, Air India Flight 182 left Montreal for New Delhi via London. But it exploded and crashed off Ireland's Atlantic Coast. In Canada's worst terrorist attack, 329 persons were killed, mostly of Indian origin. After nearly 25 years, Justice John Major, the head of Kanishka Bombing Inquiry Commission has made several recommendations, including an ex-gratia payment to victims' families.
