2G scam: PM files affidavit,denies inaction

An affidavit on behalf of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was filed in the Supreme Court today, which rejected the charge of inaction on the part of his office in dealing with the request of sanction for prosecution of former Telecom Minister A Raja in the 2G spectrum issue.The 11-page affidavit filed through Director, PMO,K Vidyawati on behalf of the Prime Minister states that all the three letters written by Subramanium Swamy from November 29, 2008 to the last in October 2010 have been given serious consideration by the PMO.
