37th International Book Fair strengthening Indo-Bangla ties

Literature enthusiasts thronged the 37th International Book Fair in Kolkata with Bangladesh as the focal theme, organized to celebrate the 19th century Bengal renaissance. The exhibition aimed at strengthening of relations between India and Bangladesh. The general secretary of the Publishers and Booksellers Guild, Tridib Chatterjee said such exhibitions would foster the bond of friendship between India and Bangladesh. The book fair was inaugurated on January 26 by eminent Bangladeshi academician Anisuzzaman.
