40 injured in protests over land transfer

Protests against the transfer of land to the Amarnath Board in Srinagar are taking a violent turn. More than 40 people were injured during a violent protest by the Kashmiri youth in Srinagar on Wednesday. The injured include 17 policemen and seven paramilitary personnel. The protesters pelted stones on policemen and raised anti-government slogans against the transfer of land.
