60 glorious years of Parliament

The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha are holding special sessions on Sunday to mark the 60th anniversary of Parliament's first session. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh initiated the debate in the Rajya Sabha followed by Leader of Opposition Arun Jaitley addressing the Members of Parliament. The special session in the Lok Sabha was started by Speaker Meira Kumar who made opening remarks to honor the special day in the history of the world's biggest parliamentary democracy.
