600 guitarists pay tribute to Delhi gang rape victim in Darjeeling

About 600 guitarists assembled to pay a tribute to the victim of the recent Delhi gangrape case in Darjeeling, crooning to the tune of the song 'Imagine' by music legend John Lennon. Several renowned musicians of the region participated in the event, while scores of people applauded the musicians for their musical tribute to the deceased rape victim. Sharing his views, renowned musician of northeastern region, Lou Majaw said that participation in this event was close to his heart and gave him contentment. The event was organised by the authorities of Darjeeling Tea and Tourism Festival (DTTF), a 15-day festival held under the supervision of newly-formed Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA).
