67 Bihar Oppn MLAs suspended, ruckus continues

Chaos prevailed for the second day in the Bihar Assembly as the speaker Udai Narain Choudhry suspended 67 Opposition MLAs for the rest of the monsoon session after a slipper was flung at him. The suspended MLAs were later marshalled out of the house. On Wednesday, Opposition members sat in protest inside the assembly premises, against their alleged manhandling by members of the ruling coalition. Meanwhile, Ram Chandra Yadav, a senior MLA belonging to RJD demanded the resignation of Nitish Kumar.
