92 Andhra deputies quit against move to create Telangana

Assembly Speaker of Andhra Pradesh state, Kiran Kumar Reddy said that 92 legislators from Rayalaseema and Andhra regions, belonging to three parties have submitted their resignations to him in protest against move to carve out Telangana state from Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, state deputies and key leaders of central ruling Congress party, which also heads the state government, met party Chief Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi.
