Aamir Khan meets Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot

Actor Aamir Khan, whose debut TV show Satyamev Jayate focused on the issue of female foeticide in Rajasthan in its first episode, on Wednesday met state chief minister Ashok Gehlot to discuss on the matter. Khan expressed concern over the rampant practice of female foeticide in the state and requested to set up a special court for speedy trial in various such cases. Khan also said that the minister has given him full assurance that the matter would be looked upon and the government would cooperate fully on the issue. Meanwhile, Gehlot has said that female foeticide is a serious issue and should be curbed. He also encouraged the actor who gave the issue priority than his movies.
