Law Minister Hansraj Bhardwaj says delivery of justice needed to be speeded up in India. Bhardwaj addressed a joint news conference along with chief justice KG Balakrishnan at a conference of state chiefs and justices of High Courts in New Delhi on April 19. The statement came after the prime minister's observation that large number of pending cases in courts is delaying the delivery of justice.
