Adolescent girls in India are most vulnerable: Report

With the highest adolescent population in India, the real challenge for the nation is to provide nutritional, health and educational needs of this segment of the population, particularly girls, according to the recent report released by UNICEF. The report 'Adolescence: Age of opportunities' was released in New Delhi on Friday. Member of Parliament Naveen Jindal, Representative of UNICEF India Karin Hulshof, and Secretary of Ministry of Women and Child Development D. K. Sikri, attended the release of the report.
