After mining in K’taka, coal scam disturbs Orissa assembly

With mining issue rocking the Karnataka assembly, now the coal scam seems to have paralyzed Orissa assembly. Demanding removal of the two state cabinet ministers, Badrinarayan Patra and Pratap Jena, for their alleged involvement in the coal scam, the opposition parties took to fierce Sloganeering in the assembly due to which it was adjourned for the third time yesterday. The two ministers were chairmen of the state-owned Orissa Small Industries Corporation (OSIC), which regulates the coal distribution along with the Orissa Cooperative Consumer Federation (OCCF).
