Ajay Maken: Take responsibility for Congress defeat, resign as General Secretary

Congress party's in-charge of Delhi Assembly Elections 2015 and general secretary Ajay Maken has decided to quit from his party position after early trends showcased Congress' struggle to open account in the 70-seat assembly. He said, "I will meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi and tender my resignation". He further congratulated AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal for their massive win in Delhi. Maken, who contested from Sadar Bazar seat, lost with other 69 candidates of the Congress.
