All demands of the protestors accepted by govt: Police

Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Dharmendra Kumar on Sunday appealed for peace, as a protest, seeking justice for 23-year-old gang rape victim, turns violent in New Delhi. The officer said the government had accepted all the demands of the agitators to enhance the punishment under rape laws, steps to be taken to protect girls and women, to inquire into this particular incident and to prosecute this case as fast as possible.
