An engineer's death in UP spark protests in the state

Activists of Samajwadi Party protesting against the killing of an executive engineer allegedly by a ruling Bahujan Samaj Party legislator and his men clashed with police in Lucknow and other parts of the state. BSP legislator, Shekhar Tiwari, has been taken into custody for the murder of the Executive Engineer Manoj Kumar Gupta. Demanding action against the State Government, Samajwadi Party gave a call for a statewide Bandh on Thursday.
