Anil Ambani appears before PAC

Public Accounts committee today quizzed Reliance ADAG Chairman Anil Ambani in connection with 2G scam. Ambani is accused of conspiring to set up Swan Telecom as a front company to gain valuable radio spectrum. Indian telecom rules prohibit an existing license holder from owning more than 10 percent in another operator in the same market. Etisalat DB Telecom CEO Atul Jham was also questioned by the panel headed by senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi.
