Annual 'Taj Mahotsav' in Agra pulls in major crowd

The 10-day annual festival, Taj Mahotsav, dedicated to promotion of art and crafts and celebration of local heritage and culture, that commenced at the Shilpgram, near Agra on Thursday, is drawing a number of visitors. Organised by the state's Tourism Department, the festival showcases the country's extensive arts, crafts and culture besides folk music, and classical dance performances, and offers a variety of entertainment including elephant and camel rides, games, and a food festival.
