Anti-terrorism bill passed in upper house

Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian parliament unanimously on Thursday passed the bill to set up a National Investigative Agency, a day after it was passed by Lok Sabha, the lower house. K Rehman Khan, Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha put the motion taking the National Investigative Agency Bill-2008 to vote. The bill was debated by the members in the house following which, it was passed.
