Architectural treasures attract tourists to south

Architectural treasures and beautiful beaches of southern India are attracting tourists from across the globe. Neither the global recessionary trends, nor the spate of terror attacks seem to have deterred the tourists and Tamil Nadu's Mahabalipuram is abuzz with activity. Locals of the region observe that it is only after the recent Mumbai attacks that they have seen an increase in the number of tourists thronging the till now untouched place.
