Assembly polls in three states on Oct 13

Election Commission has notified October 13 as the date of elections to the state legislatures of Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh and Haryana. This was disclosed by Chief Election Commissioner Navin Chawla while addressing a news conference in New Delhi on Monday. He also mentioned that the counting of votes will take place on October 22 and the entire process would be completed before October 25.
