Bainsla slams govt over inaction to resolve reservation row
Updated on Dec 27, 2010 09:23 pm IST
Rejecting the recent ruling on the ongoing reservation row in Rajasthan, Gujjar community leader Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla lashed out at the state government for not taking action to resolve the crisis on Sunday. Bainsla's comments came soon after his 'peace' talks with the state Power Minister, Jitendra Singh, ended in failure. Certain media reports suggested that the talks hit a roadblock after Bainsla rejected Singh's claims that the government was doing its best to end the deadlock. Briefing reporters in the Dausa district of Rajasthan, Bainsla, blamed the state government for losing the case, asserting it had not provided relevant data to the court.
