Bangladeshi prisoners in India's correctional homes await release

Bangladeshi prisoners in correctional home in Siliguri, held for crossing the border illegally, await permission to return to their homeland. These prisoners from Bangladesh have been held for five years for illegal border crossing or having an illegal passport. Presently, there are nineteen such prisoners from Bangladesh; sixteen of them are men and three women with one child with each one of them.
