Bengal brings in relief for victims

Authorities in flood-hit West Bengal has announced relief package for the victims on Friday. The state is grappling with floods and the death toll is rising with every passing day. The death toll in Midnapore district has rise to 25. Thousands of people are marooned with rivers flowing above the danger level. The state government is using Air Force helicopters to drop food packets in the affected areas, besides deploying the Army for rescue work.
