In a setback to three telecom majors Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Essar and Idea Cellular, anti-monopoly watchdog MRTPC has issued a notice of enquiry against them for allegedly forming a cartel to distort competition. The MRTPC Bench has directed the three companies to file their reply before it within four weeks. The next hearing is scheduled for July 31.
